MonuMem

Terms of Service

Version 2026-08-12 · MonuMem LLC

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of MonuMem, provided by MonuMem LLC ("MonuMem", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. What MonuMem does

MonuMem records meetings, transcribes them, separates speakers, and generates notes and summaries. Features may change over time.

3. Your account

You need an account to use MonuMem. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account. Multi-factor authentication is required — you must enrol an authenticator app to use the service. You must be at least 16.

4. Recording and consent — your responsibility

MonuMem records conversations. Recording laws vary, and many places require the consent of every person taking part. You are solely responsible for:

MonuMem provides features to help you meet these obligations. They are not legal advice, and using them does not establish that you have met your obligations. You agree to indemnify MonuMem against claims arising from your failure to obtain consent the law required of you.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use MonuMem to record anyone unlawfully; to break the law or infringe anyone's rights; to reverse-engineer, resell or disrupt the service; to attempt to access other customers' data; or to circumvent usage limits. We may suspend accounts that breach this section.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of your recordings, transcripts and notes. You grant MonuMem the licence needed to operate the service — to store, process, transcribe and analyse your content in order to provide it to you.

We do not use your content to train or improve MonuMem's own models or prompts. It is processed to deliver the service to you and for nothing else.

7. Availability

We aim to keep MonuMem available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features. No uptime commitment is offered.

8. Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by law. We will give notice before any price change takes effect.

9. Termination

You may stop using MonuMem and delete your account at any time; deletion removes your content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

MonuMem is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.

Transcription, speaker separation and generated notes are produced by automated systems and will contain errors. They are not a verbatim record and must not be relied on as one. Do not use MonuMem's output as the sole basis for any legal, medical, financial or employment decision.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

These limits apply regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, and survive termination. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, in which case the limitations above apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Where changes are material we will notify you in the application and update the version above. Continuing to use MonuMem after notification means you accept the change.
